Every superhero needs a good villain or he or she wouldn't have anything to do. After all, villains are the driving force that makes heroes put on their costumes, go out there and risk their lives to save people.

The MCU has been around since 2008 and during its twenty plus movies, it introduced a lot of great villains - and some that were somewhat lackluster. If you've ever wondered which MCU villain had the same Chinese Zodiac sign like you, and perhaps was similar to you in ways, let's find out.

Toomes proves his intelligence when he manages to deduce Peter's secret identity in a matter of minutes. Rats are highly loyal to their family and friends, but can also be motivated by money. Toomes start selling alien weaponry to provide for his family, but he grows more and more greedy.

Many people didn't like Iron Man 2 that much but its main villain Ivan Vanko had a lot of strong character traits. Just like all Oxes, he was intelligent, hard-working, goal-oriented, and resourceful.

He spent a long time working on a way how to get his revenge on the Stark family. Oxes are often introverted, and Ivan didn't really like other people, instead, he preferred the company of his pet bird.

Peter Quill's father Ego, the living planet, shares a lot of similarities with Tigers. People born in this sign have strong leadership qualities, are charming, ambitious, and courageous.

They're also willing to do whatever it takes and ready to take out whoever gets in their way. Ego looked like a dream come true at first but then he showed his real face to Peter when he tried to kill him and his friends.

9 Rabbit: Helmut Zemo

Helmut Zemo may not have had actual powers in the MCU but that didn't stop him from ruining the Avengers. His love for his family makes Zemo a clear Rabbit. Rabbits are known for enjoying being surrounded by their family and friends.

They're compassionate and sincere and prefer to avoid conflict, but will step up, if necessary. Everything Zemo did was motivated by his grief at losing his family and while he preferred not to fight the Avengers physically, he still confronted them in the end.

Obadiah Stane isn't the only villain on this list who pretended to be good only to later stab the heroes in the back. Obadiah has a lot of Dragon traits. People born in this sign are natural-born leaders, good at giving orders and they're not afraid to do whatever they consider necessary to get what they want.

They can also be charismatic and warm-hearted. Obadiah had a clear vision and he would kill Tony to achieve it when he no longer could pretend he was Tony's friend.

7 Snake: Alexander Pierce

Alexander Pierce starts out as a good guy but it's later revealed that he actually works with Hydra and the Winter Soldier. Pierce in an intelligent and hard-working individual or he wouldn't be able to gain such influence.

He might not be as good at fighting as many MCU heroes but he's still dangerous and shouldn't be underestimated, just like Snakes often are.

6 Horse: Ghost

Ghost was one of the more sympathetic villains since her actions were motivated by the pain she was in. Ghost shares a lot of similarities with Horses.

Horses are free and independent, they mostly rely on themselves. Ghost wasn't all that excited about working with the heroes and only said yes when it became clear that Janet van Dyne could help her with her health condition. Horses also love their families, and Ghost was very protective of those few people she cared about.

Black Panther's nemesis is a Goat. Goats are creative thinkers. Erik Killmonger was able to come up with an excellent plan how to defeat T'Challa and take Wakanda for himself, become the new Black Panther.

He succeeded and if T'Challa didn't kill him in their final combat, it's hard to say how much more Killmonger could have achieved, his intelligence considered.

4 Monkey: Loki

Loki is an obvious Monkey. Monkeys like to have fun, they're free-spirited, with a sense of humor and they don't like to be told what to do.

Loki isn't known as God of Mischief by accident and he takes great pleasure in confusing people, tricking them, and simply enjoying his life to the fullest. Monkeys can be selfish and think of themselves before others. While Loki sometimes helps Thor, he usually does it because it fits his goal.

Thor's older sister is one of the most dangerous Asgardians. If you're a Rooster, you could share some similarities with Hela. Roosters are practical, resourceful, straightforward, and honest.

Unlike some other villains on this list, Hela wasn't hiding her true intentions and she demonstrated her villainous nature early on when she destroyed Thor's hammer. What's more, she was clever enough to cause genuine hurt and damage.

2 Dog: Thanos

Thanos' character makes him a Dog. Dogs are known for being loyal to those they love. It may look like Thanos doesn't care about anyone but himself, but he actually has a strong bond to Nebula and is devastated when he has to sacrifice her to get to the Soul Stone.

Dogs are also bound to suffer from mood swings. Thanos may be friendly one moment but he starts killing others the next second, that's one of the reasons why he's so dangerous.
