Thom Merrilin declaimed. 'I have stories, and I will give them to you. I will make them come alive before your eyes.'"Although the series has been in production for over a year and casting announcements for its first season are still coming in, this is the first time that any official on-set images have been revealed.

Showrunner Rafe Judkins decided to celebrate the occasion by answering a few limited questions from fans on Twitter. His responses expressed his appreciation of the detail put into the set: "Absolutely one of the most emotional moments on the show for me so far," he said regarding his feelings about walking through the Winespring Inn for the first time. "Just standing in the center of Emond’s Field felt totally surreal, looking up at the red roof of the Inn, the trouble they’d gone to give each house and villager a profession and a life there. It was amazing."

First published in 1990, Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time fantasy series consists of fourteen novels, the final three of which were co-written by Brandon Sanderson following Jordan's death in 2007. It became a cornerstone of modern epic fantasy, known for its unique worldbuilding and expansive scope.

Executive produced and written by Rafe Judkins, The Wheel of Time stars Rosamund Pike, Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, Zoë Robins, Barney Harris, Madeleine Madden, Daniel Henney, and Michael McElhatton. A premiere date has not been announced by Amazon at this time.
