The Wheel of Time showrunner Rafe Judkins gave some insight into the visual effects on the series during a Q&A session on social media.

As production on the Amazon series has been put on pause, Judkins took to his Instagram story to answer some fan questions regarding the upcoming high fantasy series. He previously answered questions about things such as post-production work, the series' music composer, the usage of Old Tongue and what was still in development.

A fan fished for some inside information on the series' visual effects by asking about the visualization of weaves from the book series. "We are trying to stay as true to the books as possible," Judkins replied. "I've been giving a bunch of VFX folks long diatribes about channeling, weaves, threads, earth vs. air, etc and they early stuff has started coming in."

He added, "It looks fucking awesome. I screamed when Rosamund started channeling."
