In the latter half of the month, many Fox series, which are returning after the summer break will premiere on their home network, but will appear on the service a day later. Additionally, another network under the Fox conglomerate banner, FX will follow suit.

In the realm of absurd mash-up reality TV series, few are as intriguing as the upcoming Chefs vs. Wild, which comes to Hulu on September 26. Whether fans know Lupin III from the world-famous manga by Monkey Punch, The Castle of Cagliostro film directed by Hayao Miyazaki, or one of the many other versions on the "gentleman thief," Lupin III: The First is one of the most audacious reinventions of the character.

petite maman - celine sciamma movie

Céline Sciamma's Portrait of a Lady on Fire is one of the greatest films of the past few years. The swooning, beautifully articulated film was an immediate hit, having filmgoers curious to know where the director would go next. The answer: Petite Maman – a decidedly smaller film with the same larger-than-life feel.

The story follows a young girl who, in the wake of her grandmother's death, becomes closer with her mother, learning about their family in the process. The film blends emotional truth with forays into the fantastical, creating a wonderful movie viewing experience.

3 Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa – 9/15

One of the greatest ongoing comedy characters is that of Alan Partridge, portrayed by Steve Coogan. Through radio shows and countless television appearances (including a few of his own series), the Partridge character exists as a walking anachronism, a consummate showman who seems to blunder his way through everything he does.

In Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, the character finds himself exiled to a small radio station in the middle of nowhere, where a hostage scenario unfolds. The film relies on Alan's absolute ineptitude as he tries to serve as negotiator between the police and the disgruntled former radio jockey with a gun.
