WARNING: This post contains spoilers for the re-release of Avengers: Endgame, in theaters now.

Avengers: Endgame broke from Marvel Cinematic Universe tradition when it was first released in April, becoming the first film in the franchise to not feature a post-credits scene. Instead, Endgame chose to honor the original six Avengers and their actors, with each receiving their own little montage highlighting their time in the MCU and a title card featuring their signatures. It was a decision that made a lot of sense given the finality that Endgame provided to the stories of the original Avengers.

Earlier this month, though, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that Avengers: Endgame would be receiving a re-release in theaters featuring additional footage after the credits of the film. It was later announced that Endgame's re-release would include six minutes of new footage, including an introductory video from co-director Anthony Russo, an unfinished deleted scene, a sneak peek at Spider-Man: Far From Home and a tribute to the legendary Stan Lee along with a new poster being handed out at select theaters.

With the re-release of Avengers: Endgame now in theaters, here's what was included in the bonus content.

An Introduction From Co-Director Anthony Russo

The re-release of Avengers: Endgame features an introductory video from co-director Anthony Russo that runs right after the trailers ahead of the film. In the video, Anthony thanks fans on behalf of himself and his brother Joe for joining them for this journey through the Infinity Saga.

The brief video ends with Russo reminding fans to stick around after the credits to view some exclusive new content.

Stan We Love You 3000 - A Tribute to Stan Lee

The additional content in the re-release of Avengers: Endgame begins with a touching tribute to the everlasting legacy of Stan Lee, who passed away in November of last year. Beginning just after the final credits roll, the tribute brings together all of Stan Lee's cameo appearances within the Marvel Cinematic Universe in one place, with some behind-the-scenes footage included in which Stan is shown on-set rehearsing and spending time with the actors and directors of the films. The tribute also includes the cast and crew thanking Lee during his time on-set across multiple films.

The clip features Lee talking about how lucky he is that he was able to appear in these films while reiterating his shock at just how popular the stories and characters he created have become since he wrote them all those years ago, just trying to keep his job and pay his rent. Ending the tribute is a title card inscribed "STAN WE LOVE YOU 3000."

Professor Hulk Saves the Day - An Unfinished Deleted Scene

The unfinished deleted scene included in the re-release of Endgame also features an introduction from co-director Anthony Russo. In the video, Russo thanks audiences for sticking around for the bonus content and introduces the first look at a deleted scene that he and his brother Joe loved but couldn't keep in the final cut of the film. Of note is that the deleted scene does not appear to be one of the scenes that was previously listed on the home release of the film.

The deleted scene features what would have been the first look at Professor Hulk in action as he saves a group of people from a burning building. The scene also features a cameo appearance from Die Hard's Reginald VelJohnson as the chief of the fire department combating the blazing building. With a group of people stuck on the 40th floor of the building, VelJohnson's chief is calling for choppers to help airlift the people from the building when a figure, who turns out to be Professor Hulk, appears jumping from building to building before coming to the ground carrying them in a satellite dish.

The scene ends with Professor Hulk receiving a phone call with a certain Steve being on the other line. It's likely that this scene occurred sometime after Tony turned down Steve Rogers, Scott Lang and Natasha Romanoff's request for aid in making the time heist possible ahead of their meeting with Professor Hulk at the breakfast diner. As mentioned ahead of the re-release, the scene is unfinished and features a very early rendering of Professor Hulk, who's mouth does not yet move when actor Mark Ruffalo speaks.

The Arrival of Mysterio - A Sneak Peek at Spider-Man: Far From Home

Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home

With Spider-Man: Far From Home slinging into theaters everywhere on Tuesday, Endgame's re-release bonus content ends with the traditional post-credits scene that provides a sneak peek at the next film in the MCU.

In the Far From Home sneak peek, Maria Hill and Nick Fury arrive in Ixtenco, Mexico to examine the damage done to the city by what was described as a cyclone with a face. While Hill is skeptical of the cause of the destruction, thinking it just the result of terrible weather, the arrival of Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio and the Earth Elemental quickly extinguishes any doubts.

We Love You 3000 - A Commemorative Poster

Ahead of the re-release of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios unveiled a new commemorative poster featuring Tony Stark's Nano Gauntlet and the tagline, "We Love You 3000." Playing on Morgan Stark's "I love you 3000" line from the film, Marvel Studios is expressing their appreciation for the fans who made the MCU, and Endgame, such a massive success.

The poster will be given out at select theaters.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The re-released version of the film containing bonus post-credits content is now in theaters.
