The Mad Titan Thanos is fiercest foe the Avengers have faced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With help from the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos was able to wipe away half the life in the universe -- and even without that powerful weapon, he and his forces were more than a match for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. However, what if the Mad Titan had actually been a hero instead? In this new exclusive video, we're going to lay out a timeline in which Thanos isn't the bad guy, but actually a hero.
In this scenario, we're going to dub Thanos the "Mighty Titan," and a lot is going to change about the MCU. There will be no snap in Infinity War, and thus there's no need for time travel in Avengers: Endgame. This will even have bigger ripple effects, as the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers both owe their existence in some way to Thanos and his machination. Thus, the entire fabric of the MCU is about to change in a big way, as the universe will be without one of its deadliest threats.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, it's not totally clear just what shape the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take. While there's a good indication the characters that Disney acquired from 21st Century Fox will soon arrive, there's not much solid information on just when or how that might happen. Right now, there are a lot of potential directions the MCU could take going forward, though exactly which one it will take remains to be seen.
