WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for the Season 3 premiere of Westworld, "Parce Domine," which premiered Sunday on HBO.

At the end of Westworld's second season, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) had her consciousness uploaded into a new host body, that of Tessa Thompson's Charlotte, so she could leave Delos' park in one of the series' biggest twists. This allowed Dolores-Charlotte to enter the real world to begin her robot apocalypse but thanks to the premiere episode, it became obvious that Charlotte's body doesn't host Dolores' mind anymore.

Dolores is back in her old host body as she has a lair and tech to build replicas, but she also took five cores/pearls with her from the park to put into new hosts. With one of them already going into a rogue Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), this leaves fans wondering who's inside of this Charlotte.

Charlotte's a corporate savage as she takes control of the board. With so many members being killed off last season, just three months later she's arranged the necessary paperwork, greased the right shoulders and now, she's responsible for the board's activities. So much so, she only needs approval from an algorithm (that's seemingly in the seat of William/the Man in Black) for the company to go private. Some members object but the algorithm gives Charlotte the go-ahead and she's running the show like never before, promoted from being just a gofer over the course of two seasons for these same people.

Now, Delos doesn't have to answer to anyone and is a bit more out of reach from prying governmental eyes, with members subjugated to the point they're afraid to speak up. In other words, this Charlotte's a pawn of Dolores and doing everything the unforgiving, relenting robot wants as they use the company's resources. The real Charlotte was killed by Dolores-Charlotte at the Forge, so owning her skin is some sadistic karma and poetic justice. Still, it's very intriguing when considering the options of who might be inside this host from Dolores' old crew.

Teddy (James Marsden) was last seen in the Valley Beyond, the digital haven most hosts went to, so he could be someone she secretly pulled back. Talulah Riley's Angela was Dolores' riding partner and another general so it could be that Dolores did put her into one of the pearls. However, it appears Angela was put inside Incite operative, Connells (Tommy Flanagan), as per the episode's finale. Maeve's in Warworld so she's out, leaving theorists wondering if Dolores' in-game father, Peter (Louis Herthum), might have been resurrected to help her take control of the company. But there could be a curveball in a minor character that fans never expected.

This conspiracy suggests it's actually Maeve's unnamed daughter, who also went to the Valley Beyond. The reason being is the promo for Season 3 after the premiere showed Maeve having an emotional exchange, with tears and a hoarse voice, as she asks who's inside Charlotte. And from Charlotte's reaction, it seems they know each other. Dolores could use tech in the real world to age, update and upgrade the young girl, who was no older than 11 and turn her into a vengeful mind like hers. Knowing how humans came and killed her and Maeve at their homestead time and time again is ample reason for a campaign of hate, and it's easy to see the young girl giving in to the dark side Dolores is offering.

This could be Dolores' insurance when Maeve comes hunting her for Incite as trailers suggest will happen. This will also create a very thought-provoking and nuanced battle of philosophies between mother and daughter because while Maeve hates humans, it's only in the park. She just wanted her and her offspring to be free so if the girl's under Dolores' thumb, that's just another form of slavery. But for Dolores, it'll give her a potential successor and maybe even a daughter of her own.

Airing Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, Westworld stars returning cast members Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quarterman and Rodrigo Santoro, joined by series newcomers Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe, Scott Mescudi, Marshawn Lynch, John Gallagher Jr., Michael Ealy and Tommy Flanagan.
