NBC's broadcast of Super Bowl LII included the first trailer for Westworld Season 2, delivering on our first look at snazzy new footage from the hit HBO series. The footage is narrated by Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores Abernathy, who talks the beauty of the world where she lives. Her narration then gets a lot more sinister, as she talks about how the beauty and everything in it is a lie and promises how the world will be reborn into a new world: the world of the machine, known in the universe of Westworld as Hosts.

At the end of the first season, the Hosts of the theme park gained sentience, learned of their origins, and began an uprising with their newfound freedom. As the brief trailer shows us, that freedom is going to lead to plenty of chaos and violence. We also get a more specific release window for the second season: the run of new episodes will start on April 22.
