Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood has joined the cast of WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story as Madonna.

The Roku Channel revealed Wood's casting with a first-look photo of the actor as the pop icon. She'll join Daniel Radcliffe as the biopic's eponymous Alfred Yankovic, aka "Weird Al" Yankovic.

While it's unclear just how much Madonna will factor into WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, it stands to reason that the film will touch on Yankovic's hit 1985 song "Like a Surgeon," which parodies Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and is said to be the only song idea he accepted from someone other than himself (Madonna reportedly floated the idea to a friend and it eventually made its way to Yankovic).

Penned by Yankovic and Eric Appel (who also directs), WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story explores the life and times of the fan-favorite parody singer/songwriter. "I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying me in the film," Yankovic said when the movie was announced. "I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for. When my last movie UHF came out in 1989, I made a solemn vow to my fans that I would release a major motion picture every 33 years, like clockwork. I’m very happy to say we’re on schedule."

"There clearly aren’t enough biopic movies about famous musicians, and we were excited to shine a light on the incredibly true, unexaggerated story of Weird Al," Roku Head of Original Scripted Programming Colin Davis added. "This is sincerely the ultimate combination of talent, creativity and friends, coming together to make something genuinely funny, and we could not be prouder to call this film a Roku Original."

Shortly after WEIRD was announced, the first official photo of Radcliffe as Yankovic was released. "Wearing the Hawaiian shirt is a huge responsibility that I don't take lightly, and I'm honored to finally share with the world the absolutely 100 percent unassailably true story of Weird Al's depraved and scandalous life," Radcliffe said.

WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story has yet to receive a release date.
