9 The Uncanny Counter Follows The Adventures Of A Group Of Demon Hunters

The Uncanny Counter tells the story of four demon hunters or Counters who spend their days fighting evil spirits and sending them back to the afterlife. In 2020, OCN adapted the Daum webtoon into a sixteen-episode television series starring Jo Byungyu as the main character, So Mun, and singer/actress Kim Sejeong as Do Hana.

The drama was successful enough to earn a special episode called The Uncanny Return, which premiered in early 2021 and reunited most of the main cast. Actress Yeom Hyeram, who played Counter Choo Maeok, won a Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the series.

The drama was the first South Korean production to enter the streaming platform's Top 10 in the USA, reaching third place the day it was released. The series won the Grand Prize for Best Drama at the 2020 Cable TV Broadcasting Awards.
