She-Hulk: Attorney At Law follows Jennifer Walters, an attorney who transformed into a Hulk after coming into contact with Bruce Banner's blood. Rather than focusing on the typical fighting and action that comes with being a superhero, the show focuses more on Jen getting used to being both Jen and She-Hulk.

She-Hulk is intended to deliver a real-world commentary while also establishing She-Hulk as a powerful and relatable feminist icon. However, many female fans actually struggle to relate to or agree with the things that happen in the show. Some messages or events come close to hitting the mark, but when they miss, it makes the audience feel disconnected from Jen.

10 Jen Went To Lulu's Wedding As She-Hulk

Lulu and She-Hulk In She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

Jen's confidence in herself was at an all-time low when she was invited to an old friend's wedding. Despite it clearly being a bad idea, she decided to show up as She-Hulk. The bride-to-be was furious, as She-Hulk's presence guaranteed that all eyes wouldn't be on the bride.

Going to the wedding as She-Hulk was the equivalent of going to someone else's wedding wearing a white dress. It was attention-seeking, and although Jen wasn't feeling great, there is a time and a place to want the spotlight. Hopefully, no one else has made a similar mistake.

9 Jen Had No Romantic Luck

Fans were incredulous that Jen barely received any matches on her dating app. This is because the actress playing the character, Tatiana Maslany, isn't ugly at all. Rather, she's gorgeous. It is difficult for any fan to believe that people would be more attracted to the giant and green CGI character.

It is even more insulting that Jen attributes her bad luck to the fact that she is dating in her 30s. This comment, combined with the lack of matches for a woman who looks great, needlessly makes the future look bleak for single women.

8 The Hulk Is Jen's Cousin

It is impossible to imagine what it would be like to be related to one of the most well-known superheroes in the world. The Hulk is famous for saving the lives of half of the people on Earth, who had been snapped away by Thanos.

It is hard to believe that this isn't being brought up more in She-Hulk, or that people aren't still comparing her accomplishments to that of her cousin. Instead, people seem to be more focused on the fact that she is "stealing" his identity and couldn't come up with her own powers or name.

7 Jen's "Internet Trolls" Are Terrifying

Nikki Ramos and She-Hulk in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

When surfing the internet, Mallory Book and Nikki Ramos stumbled across a website in which people posted about how they wanted to kill She-Hulk. Mallory insisted that these were just internet trolls, but these are not internet trolls. Internet trolls are people who make fun of others just to get under their skin. They take pleasure in their pettiness and hide in the safety of anonymity.

The people on the anti-She-Hulk website were more like potential criminals since they were actually conspiring and planning to kill her. No one would have ever brushed this off as harmless threats.

6 Jen Lives With Superpowers

Jen has some unique struggles that come with being a Hulk. She gets a lot of unwanted attention, it negatively affects her romantic life, her height makes her reach the ceiling of some buildings, and she needs two different wardrobes for her two different body types.

She-Hulk does an excellent job of making Jen's journey and struggles similar to Bruce's, but still unique. However, few people are celebrities or superheroes, which is why, as interesting as it is to see her adapt to her life as a Hulk, it still isn't that relatable.

5 Texting After Three Days Of No Response Isn't That Bad

Jennifer Walters and Josh Miller in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

After Josh Miller and Jen spent a night together, Josh completely ghosted her. When Jen woke up and saw him gone, she sent him a text about how happy she was about the night before. When she didn't get a reply for three days, she sent him another text to inquire if he was okay. In her group therapy session, the other people acted as though she was acting needy and gross.

Jen's anxiety and misery about being ghosted were relatable, but this was utterly crushed in the group therapy scene. Jen's actions were normal and reasonable, especially since she waited three whole days before texting him again.

4 Titania Trademarked Jen's Nickname

Titania, Nikki Ramos, and Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

In a petty move, Titania trademarked She-Hulk, deciding to use the name to sell her beauty products. It isn't very often that a person's nickname gets stolen by another person. It made sense for Jen to be mad even though she never liked the name.

Titania was making money off of her image and even went out of her way to sue Jen for misuse of the trademark. It would infuriate anyone, but it's doubtful that many of the fans have ever been in a unique situation like that.

3 Jen Breaks The Fourth Wall

Smart Hulk and She-Hulk in She Hulk: Attorney At Law.

Jen is aware of the fourth wall, which is why she often addresses the audience. Assuming that there is a fourth wall to break in real life, anyone who was aware of that would be more likely to feel extremely uncomfortable having so many eyes on them, especially during moments when they would prefer to be alone.

Instead, Jen seems happy to talk to the audience whenever the situation arises. She isn't even consistent about when she addresses the audience. She is seen going into her office to address her audience privately, yet in another scene, she's more than willing to talk to the audience when her boss is right next to her.

2 Jen Had To Defend Someone Who Tried To Kill Her Cousin

Emil Blonsky and Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

It seems difficult, perhaps even impossible, to forgive a person who has tried to kill a family member. Jen found it in herself to forgive and trust Abomination despite his fight against her cousin, Bruce. She was even willing to defend him in court, although the incentive to keep her job helped.

Many people wouldn't have been able to forgive or defend someone for something like that. Abomination may have genuinely changed, but Jen is one of the few people who would have bothered giving him a chance to hear him out.

1 Jen Had Quick Confidence In Her Superhuman Abilities

Bruce Banner and She-Hulk in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

Jen gained confidence in her superhuman abilities exceptionally quickly. Although it is only natural for her to tease her cousin about being "better" than him, she brushed off his warnings. She knows about his backstory and about the many struggles he has experienced, but she seems to think that she will never go through anything remotely similar to the things he has.

Most people who are familiar with Bruce's journey as a Hulk would be warier if they turned into one, too. No one other than Jen would think that handling a few cat-calls would make them a master of controlling their anger.
