Watchmen: War Begins in Latest Teaser for HBO Series

The premiere of HBO's highly anticipated Watchmen series is less than a month away, and while the premium cable network recently released a revealing trailer for Season 1, we now have a new teaser that features plenty of new footage and details about the show.

While previous trailers for Watchmen have focused on the series' connections to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' seminal graphic novel, the latest teaser focuses on Regina King's new character, Sister Night, and the increasing attacks of a dangerous group known as the Seventh Cavalry.

Much of the story details of HBO's Watchmen are being kept under wraps, but we do know the series will involve an older Ozymandias, who is once again manipulating events behind the scenes. It's unclear what his goal is, but it's clear that, like its predecessor, the television series is ticking down to a potentially cataclysmic event.

Developed by Damon Lindelof, HBO's Watchmen stars Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Mison, James Wolk, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith and Adelynn Spoon. The series premieres Oct. 20.
