A prop in HBO’s Watchmen is actually for a Dyson fan.

In the Watchmen premiere, Looking Glass uses “The Pod” to interrogate a suspect believed to be a member of the white supremacist group, Seventh Kavalry. However, a fan on Reddit noticed the remote Looking Glass uses is actually the same one they have for their Dyson fan.

Actor Tim Blake Nelson, who plays Looking Glass, previously praised the realisticness of "The Pod" and production designer Kristian Milstead's work. "A great production designer makes your life really easy, because you just walk into a reality," he said. "Just the way it felt sitting in that chair, and the shape of The Pod, and the strange grittiness of it—I didn't imagine it was going to be a reality of this show. But of course it is, because it's such an analog world, even though it's in the future. It made a scene I already knew was going to be really, really good, an exciting one to film."

Developed by Damon Lindelof, HBO's Watchmen stars Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Jean Smart, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Mison, James Wolk, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith and Adelynn Spoon.
