WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for the third episode of HBO's Watchmen, "She Was Killed By Space Junk," which aired Sunday.

When HBO first announced the cast of Damon Lindelof's Watchmen series, star Jeremy Irons was widely believed to be portraying Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias, the original comic book's evil mastermind. However, for its first two episodes, the series played coy with the identity of Irons' character, opting for an approach that was more mysterious than anything else.

That all changed, though, in the series' latest episode, "She Was Killed By Space Junk," which put the mystery to rest when, after penning a heated later to his caretaker, Irons' character signed off by proudly announcing his name: Adrian Veidt. And the episode didn't stop there.

After the revelation, Veidt later walks on-screen sporting his full costume, as seen in Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' comic series. All of the elements are there, from the purple cloth and mask to the golden armbands, chest plate and headband.

This marks the first live-action use of Ozymandias' comic book costume. In Zack Snyder's 2009 film, Veidt sported body armor that borrowed more from Batman than anyone else.
