Roots star Louis Gossett Jr. will make his debut as Will Reeves in the upcoming second episode of HBO's Watchmen.
The synopsis for the episode, which you can read below, teases Angela Abar/Sister Night detaining Reeves.
Episode 2: "Martial Feats of Comanche Horsemanship"
Debut date: SUNDAY, OCT. 27 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
As Angela relives haunting memories of an attack on her family, she detains a mysterious man (Lou Gossett Jr.) who claims responsibility for Tulsa's most recent murder. Elsewhere, an original play is performed for an audience of one.

In addition to his role as Fiddler on Roots, Gossett appeared in 1982's An Officer and a Gentleman and voiced Lucius Fox in The Batman.
Watchmen is based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' comic of the same name. However, HBO's series is a sequel, taking place after the events of that series and will focus on several new characters, as well as returning ones.
Developed by Damon Lindelof, HBO's Watchmen stars Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Mison, James Wolk, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith and Adelynn Spoon. The series premieres Oct. 20.
