Watching 'Star Wars' LEGO sets explode at 3,000 FPS is oddly soothing

I confess, I was a destructive child, laying waste to action figures, dolls and Little People playsets like a pint-sized, red-haired Godzilla, much to the dismay of my older brother. So perhaps it's nostalgia that warms my heart as I watch this amazing video of exploding LEGO Star Wars sets, shot at 3,000 frames per second.

But they don't merely explode; they catch fire as a confrontation between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader erupts, enveloping nearby LEGO nearby AT-AT and AT-ST walkers, and what I'm pretty sure is an "orbiting" U.S. satellite. It's glorious.
