WATCH: Vision Doesn't Want the Mind Stone to Control Him in New "Civil War" Clip

In this new clip from "Captain America: Civil War," Vision tries to explain the mind gem to Scarlet Witch and his desire to be free of its control.

In this new clip from "Captain America: Civil War," Vision and Scarlet Witch discuss the mind gem that fuels Vision's existence. As we saw in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the gem was extracted from Loki's staff and used to give life to both Ultron and Vision. The gem also gave Scarlet Witch her powers.

In the clip below, which debuted on "Good Morning America" earlier today, Vision (Paul Bettany) tells Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) that he still doesn't understand the mind gem -- what it does and what it can do. He also shares with her that he wants to one day be free from its control.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle and more, "Captain America: Civil War" opens on May 6.
