Second unit filming for establishing shots without the main cast started in October in New York City.

Holland previously portrayed the Marvel hero in both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Far From Home director Jon Watts will helm Spider-Man 3, which is scheduled for release on Dec. 17, 2021.
