A deleted scene that featured Tom Hardy's cameo in Star Wars: The Last Jedi has finally hit the internet.

The scene would have taken place somewhere during the time Finn and Rose infiltrate the Supremacy in their attempt to disarm the First Order's tracking system. They, along with the slicer "DJ," are dressed as First Order officers when they encounter Hardy's character inside the close confines of an elevator, and things get tense.

Hardy's character is a Stormtrooper who seems to have some kind of history with Finn, back when he was known as FN-2187. It is initially believed that their cover has been blown, but the trooper breaks from protocol and simply comments "I never took you for officer material!"

The character's Southern accent and the fact that he slaps Finn on the rear were likely too much to be included in the final cut of the film. Plus, given the fact that Finn's desertion is supposed to be public knowledge, it's hard to believe this Stormtrooper wouldn't know about it.

Available now on Digital HD and beginning March 27 on Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and On-Demand, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong’o, Benicio Del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, and the late Carrie Fisher.
