The Internet has been going nuts for porgs, an alien species Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson explained was inspired by the puffins he saw while filming on the Irish island of Skellig Michael. Along with the Caretakers, porgs are one of the alien species that has been keeping Luke Skywalker company during his self-imposed exile.
