Lady Sybil Ramkin is proficient in diplomacy, weapons and -- as it turns out -- crowd control. In this CBR-exclusive clip from "Better to Light a Candle," The Watch Season 1 finale, she manages to pull off a nearly impossible feat when she gets the citizens of Ankh-Morpork to listen to her.

When the clip picks up, the beleaguered Watch members reteam with Sybil, who looks appropriately concerned for someone aware of Ankh-Morpork's impending doom. "Have you cleared the streets?" she asked, only for Angua to shake her head and say, "They're not bloody listening."

"They never listen to us," Carrot pitched in, with Cheery lamenting, "It's like they don't want to believe the world is ending until it actually ends."

"It's alright. I'll sort it," Sybil reassured them. With that, she hoisted up a large megaphone and began to shout: "Get off these bloody streets right bloody now or you and your children are all going to burn!" At that, the people around her leapt to their feet and began to hustle away, earning Sybil a nod of approval from Angua.

According to the episode description for "Better to Light a Candle,"

The Watch concludes with the season one finale on Sunday, February 14th at 8:00 p.m ET/PT on BBC AMERICA. In the final episode, titled "Better to Light a Candle," Carcer's got everything he needs to control the Noble Dragon and destroy Ankh-Morpork. With hysteria on the streets and DEATH preparing himself for a very busy day, can The Watch, this band of misfits, step up and save the city from annihilation?

The Watch follows an unlikely group of misfits, The City Watch, who are forced to find the guts to save the world, surprising even themselves in the process. The comedic yet thrilling series pits trolls, werewolves, wizards and other improbable heroes against an evil plot to resurrect a great dragon which would lead to the destruction of life as they know it. From lead writer and executive producer Simon Allen (The Musketeers), the modern and inclusive series is inspired by the characters created by Sir Terry Pratchett's famous Discworld novels, including the captain of The City Watch Sam Vimes (Richard Dormer, Game of Thrones), the last scion of nobility Lady Sybil Ramkin (Lara Rossi, I May Destroy You), the naïve but heroic Carrot (Adam Hugill, 1917), the mysterious Angua (MaramaCorlett, Blood Drive) and the ingenious forensics expert Cheery (Jo Eaton-Kent, Don’t Forget the Driver) together with The Watch's own idiosyncratic depiction of Death (Wendell Pierce, The Wire). The series also stars Samuel Adewunmi (The Last Tree) as Carcer Dun, a figure from Vimes' past, and Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows) voices Wayne, a talking sword.

The Watch is executive produced by BBC Studios' Hilary Salmon (Luther) and Phil Collinson (Doctor Who). The series, which will run for eight episodes, is written by Simon Allen (Das Boot). It stars Richard Dormer, Anna Chancellor, Lara Rossi, Ingrid Oliver, James Fleet, Marama Corlett, Sam Adewunmi, Jo Eaton-Kent, Adam Hugill, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Ruth Madeley, Bianca Simone and Ingrid Oliver. The Watch airs Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on BBC America.
