While would-be Trainers around the globe have been glued to their phones playing "Pokémon Go," some of the pocket monsters have been quietly plotting their revenge. And in this video, they get it, unleashing enormous Pokéballs at unsuspecting players.

It's a prank carried out in Basel, Switzerland, by the folks at fadeoutTrashTV, who dressed in yellow Pikachu costumes and rode around the city in a white van, launching enormous red-and-white balls ... then driving away really, really fast. They do leave the safety of the vehicle, however, chasing Trainers down sidewalks and stairs, across a bridge and around a fountain.

It's unclear whether they caught 'em all, though.
