At a couple of points during the months-long casting process for Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot, Journey to the Center of the Earth co-star Josh Hutcherson was declared a frontrunner, and even a shoo-in, for the role of Peter Parker. In the end, however, Sony selected Andrew Garfield, best known for The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, The Red Riding Trilogy and Boy A.
But if the months since the studio's announcement, perhaps you've wondered what kind of Peter Parker the 17-year-old Hutcherson might've made. Well, wonder no more: Footage from his audition video has leaked online, showing a pretty impressive fight scene between Peter Parker and a group of school bullies. The scene, reportedly choreographed by Larnell Stovall (remember that Mortal Kombat: Rebirth sequence from a while back?), demonstrates that Hutcherson would have had no problems meeting the physical demands of Spider-Man.
