Among the many, many tributes to Prince following the death of the music icon on Thursday, few are as moving, and uplifting, as this one from the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical "Hamilton."

Thursday night's show ended with a celebration, as the cast danced to "Let's Go Crazy," to the approval of the audience.

"Today we laughed, we cried, we mourned, we danced," tweeted "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. "What more could we ask of that electric word, life?"

It's worth noting, as the New York Daily News does, that Thomas Jefferson's costume (above) is itself a an homage to Prince.
