"X-Men: Apocalypse" has had a lot of fun with the fact that it's an '80s period piece. The film's cast sports period-appropriate big hair and clothes, and the film even recreated an '80s mall. Now that attention of detail has been applied to a new featurette/promo for the film, which has been done in the style of the ads for the late '70s/early '80s series "In Search Of..." This fictional series, "In the Footsteps Of...," focuses on the myth of an ancient Egyptian mutant named En Sabah Nur. The attention to detail is spot on, especially since it sounds like the spot was narrated by George Takei (fellow "Star Trek" alum Leonard Nimoy hosted the real "In Search Of..." series). "X-Men: Apocalypse" opens on May 27.
