Ubisoft's Watch Dogs has a pair of new masters. Deadline reports the video game company and its film partners Sony and New Regency have landed a pair of writers for the video game adaptation, Zombieland's Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

In Watch Dogs, the player controls Aiden Pearce, a super-hacker running around a version of Chicago that's completely connected by to a network called the Central Operating System. Pearce, who recently suffered a personal tragedy, taps into the system to help people and maybe cause a little trouble.

The film version was announced inAugust when the game was still scheduled to debut in November. Now game fans will be able to play Watch Dogs on May 27.
