"Phase 2" of Marvel Studios' ambitious and highly profitable Marvel Cinematic Universe wrapped this past summer with "Ant-Man," and the company is marking the occasion with the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection box set. Our early next month -- conveniently released in time for the holidays -- the 13-disc set contains Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and digital copy versions of six films, each packaged with eye-catching new artwork: "Iron Man 3," "Thor: The Dark World," "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Ant-Man."

There's more than just movies in the collection, which also contains a bonus disc and multiple Marvel movie-specific replica items, highlighted by an Infinity Stone -- Power, to be exact -- contained in a light-up orb, not dissimilar to the one Star-Lord stole on Morag.

CBR got a copy of the box set a couple of weeks early, and responded appropriately: By filming an entirely too-long unboxing video, in which CBR Executive Producer Jonah Weiland -- along with cinematography from Editorial Assistant Mike Pallotta and "help" from Managing Editor Albert Ching -- eventually uncovers all of the treasures inside the Phase 2 Collection.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection goes on sale Dec. 8, exclusively through Amazon.
