Appearing Thursday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," comedy icon Bill Murray channeled his "Jungle Book" role as Baloo for a rousing rendition of "The Bare Necessities."

With some prompting by host Jimmy Kimmel, Murray joined his young co-star Neel Sethi for a duet of the Disney classic, cautioning, "We haven't rehearsed this," before prompting the band with "Five, six, seven, eight ..."

They were even backed by a couple of people in bear costumes.

Directed by Jon Favreau, Disney's "The Jungle Book" also stars Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson, Christopher Walken, Lupita Nyong'o and Giancarlo Esposito. The film opens April 15.
