It's The Wasp going one-on-one against the new villain Ghost in the latest promo clip for this week's Ant-Man and The Wasp.
With the upcoming MCU film now only days away from its wide release, Marvel has released a new clip from the movie showing Evangeline Lilly's size-changing superhero The Wasp take on the film's new villain Ghost played by Hannah John-Kamen.
While Hope Van Dyne certainly holds her own with her high-flying, size-shifting suit, it appears from the brief clip that she's outmatched by the new supervillain and her ability to go invisible and intangible. As Wasp battles Ghost in a hotel lobby, she is observed by Scott Lang and father Hank Pym from a nearby van.
As the fight begins turning towards Ghost's favor, a concerned Lang looks to leap back into action to support Wasp.
"Wait!" shouts Pym before presenting his protege with a new Ant-Man suit. "It's a work in a progress."
Facing a seemingly unstoppable new enemy, it looks like teamwork may be the key to stopping Ghost.
Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp hits theaters on July 6 and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park, and Walton Goggins.
