Don't Expect Too Much Wasp In Avengers 4

Evangeline Lilly is finally set to debut as the Marvel Comics superhero The Wasp in the Ant-Man sequel, but don't expect her to be a big part of the upcoming team-up in Avengers 4.

Posting on Instagram, Lilly revealed that “I will appear in Avengers 4… not very much, so don’t get your hopes up. Not going to be a ton. But I’m in there! And I’m proud to be in there. And I’m stoked to be in there.”

The movie is set to feature the biggest roster of superheroes of any film ever, so it's not surprising that her part isn't overly prominent.

Lilly has been visibly been excited about finally becoming a superhero in the MCU -- and her character Hope is, too. Hope says, "it's about damn time" when she receives her own costume in the Ant-Man post-credit scene. Unfortunately, she won't get much time to fight alongside the Avengers in the untitled sequel to Infinity War.

Lilly appeared in the first trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp -- which was released last week -- showing off her combat skills and some additional features her suit has that Scott Lang's doesn't. Fortunately, fans will be able to spend time with the character ahead of Avengers 4 when her movie releases on July 6.
