SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA (August 8, 2001) Award-winning comic book retailer Rory Root and AiT/Planet Lar publisher Larry Young jointly announced today the only US appearance of Warren Ellis in 2001.

"Warren has been an remarkable force for reinvigorating a passion for comics through his innovative work on Transmetropolitan, The Authority, Planetary, and Ministry of Space," said Root. "The collected version of Come in Alone has proved itself to be quite the juggernaut in terms of comic book industry opinion-leading," said Young," and we're proud to keep it in print and available. At Warren's appearance, we should also have available some behind-the-scenes work from his upcoming original graphic novel, Switchblade Honey."
