Starting today, writer Warren Ellis and artist Paul Duffield begin theFREAKANGELS serial -- a new, weekly webcomic offered free online fromAvatar Press. Each weekly installment of six full-color pages willfollow the story of the titular Freakangels, twelve unrelated youngpeople living some years from now in a flooded England. The lives ofthe Freakangels take a sharp turn when a girl from Manchester namedAlice shows up with a shotgun and a grievance. You see, she's met thetwelfth, prodigal Freakangel, who had very different ideas of whatthey should do with themselves in this flooded future England...
