WarnerMedia may have been late to the streaming game with HBO Max, but it's looking to impress fans with more services.

According to The Information, WarnerMedia is considering the addition of two new streaming services. The first would be a free service for all of WarnerMedia's entertainment cable channels including TBS, TNT and the Warner Bros. film library. The second offering would feature a subscription-based streaming service based on CNN content.

WarnerMedia has yet to finalize its programming for the CNN-based subscription service, but it reportedly won't include the news channel's iconic 24-hour news cycle. Instead, the new offering will differentiate from CNN's cable service by creating "a lineup that could include custom-made shows, such as documentary specials on different topics, specials that drill down on issues of the day featuring its talent as well as international programming that may have never aired on CNN." Insiders close to the project suggest the CNN-based subscription service could launch as early as next year.

The free entertainment service is still early in its planning stage and likely won't be available to viewers until 2022. However, insiders report the service will likely include ads and offer content from TBS, TNT and the Warner Bros. film library on-demand or through streaming TV broadcasts, much like the ViacomCBS Pluto TV service.

WarnerMedia's news comes just days after Warner Bros. announced it will release all of its 2021 movies on HBO Max the same day they come out in theaters. The two new WarnerMedia services would supplement HBO Max along with an ad-supported version of the service that is expected to launch next year.
