Warner Bros. Gives Iconic Water Tower A DC TV Makeover

The iconic Warner Bros. water tower has a whole new look. The makeover is a first for the landmark, which has sat untouched since 1927, and has been done to celebrate the upcoming launch of the WB’s fourth live-action DC Comics superhero show — “Supergirl.” “Supergirl” lead Melissa Benoist appears on one of the four banners that now hang from the tower; the other three feature “Flash” lead Grant Gustin, “Arrow’s” Stephen Amell and “Gotham’s” Ben McKenzie. You can see both sides of the tower below.

The event was well documented on Twitter. “Arrow” showrunner Marc Guggenheim was in attendance at the unveiling and snapped a picture of his hero’s banner.

“Supergirl” star Melissa Benoist also posed for an Instagram pic in front of the newly unveiled banner.

Such a crazy feeling. I mean really. Kara on the water tower at @warnerbrostv w/Flash, Arrow and Gotham @dccomics
