Warner Bros., Comic-Con Unveil Interactive Augmented Reality Backpack Bags

Heading to San Diego Comic-Con? Wondering how you're going to carry all that great swag? Well, worry no more -- Warner Bros. Television and Comic-Con have your back with 18 different bags available free (one per attendee) to all con-goers. The bags feature three panels of artwork, and a Velcro fastened cover flap showcasing even more show-specific imagery.

The popular, and collectible, backpack-style bags return for the seventh summer running, and will feature a number of properties from the Warner Bros.' stable. The full list includes:

  • The 100
  • Arrow
  • The Big Bang Theory
  • Blindspot
  • DC's Legends of Tomorrow
  • The Flash
  • Gotham
  • Lucifer
  • The Originals/The Vampire Diaries (combo bag)
  • Supergirl
  • Supernatural
  • Teen Titans Go!
  • Vixen
  • DC Super Hero Girls
  • Justice League Action

Warner Bros. movies will be represented, as well, with bags promoting "Suicide Squad" and the Harry Potter prequel, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

But, that's not the end of this story, because, these aren't any ordinary Con bags. Each bag has a hidden secret on it, a scannable, interactive, "augmented reality experience." Using the visual discovery app Blippar, fans with be able to unlock secret content, via their phone or mobile device, that "brings the bags to life."

The Blippar app is free for all iOS and Android mobile devices.
