The identity of Jena Malone's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" character has been kept a tight secret since her casting was announced, with fan theories pegging her as everyone from Batgirl to the Robin from "The Dark Knight Returns," Carrie Kelly. Now, an official survey released to members of Warner Bros.' "A-List Community" website has reportedly confirmed the prevailing theory, that Malone is Barbara Gordon.

The survey, shared on Reddit by user katniss_everjeans, displays the major actors and characters in "Batman v Superman," asking whether the user would like to see more or less of them in upcoming advertisements for the film. Along with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, the survey lists Jena Malone as Barbara Gordon.

However, fans hoping to see Malone in the upcoming film will have to wait a bit longer than its March 25 theatrical debut. Director Zack Snyder recently confirmed that Malone's scenes have been cut from the PG-13 version of the movie, but will be restored for the longer R-Rated Ultimate Edition home video release.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters on March 25.
