Legendary Pictures has revealed the first look at the war chief Orgrim Doomhammer in "Warcraft," director Duncan Jones' adaptation of the popular video game series.

He's played by Robert Kazinsky, better known for non-orc roles in "Pacific Rim," "True Blood" and Fox's upcoming "Frankenstein Code."

“We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor, and the toughness of this character,” Jones told Wired.com, which debuted the image this morning.

Co-written by Jones ("Moon," "Source Code"), "Warcraft" focuses on the initial interactions between humans and orcs. Opening June 10, 2016, the film also stars Travis Fimmel, Dominic Cooper, Ben Foster, Ruth Negga, Toby Kebbell, Clancy Brown and Daniel Wu.
