The rumored return of Quicksilver, Marvel’s resident speedster, to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was possibly confirmed in a leaked Funko Pop! description for the new Disney+ series WandaVision.

An exclusive two-pack, which was described online, apparently features Pietro Maximoff — who seemingly lost his life in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. The figures were said to have been created for the 2021 Emerald City Comic Con, however, no pictures were provided.

While Marvel Studios has yet to confirm Quicksilver's return, signs continue to point to it, with the Pop! reveal serving as the latest evidence.

Reports have said that actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played the Disney/MCU version of the character, is expected to reprise his role in WandaVision. However, Evan Peters, who played Quicksilver in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men movies, was also reportedly cast in a yet-to-be-specified part, though most believe he will be playing a new character.

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. The limited series debuts on Disney+ in December.
