Vision’s return to the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision, following his death at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, has caused plenty of speculation from fans. However, Vision's actor Paul Bettany is assuring fans that all questions will be resolved.

When asked about Vision’s mysterious return from the grave in an interview with TVLine, Bettany was tight-lipped but guaranteed that there would be a satisfying explanation. "Trust in Marvel. We got ya," Bettany said. "Everybody, stop working so hard to figure it out. Buckle in and love it, and it will take you on a ride. All of these things are going to be explained." He went on to reaffirm a previous statement of his that there are more visual effects shots in WandaVision than there were in Avengers: Endgame.

Though Bettany asked fans not to speculate about the upcoming superhero sitcom, many hints as to the show’s nature have been dropped by the cast and crew. Specifically, President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige teased recently that Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, will be influenced by the terrorist organization Hydra. Hydra’s involvement in WandaVision was first noticed by eagle-eyed fans who picked out Hydra references in a series of television promos for the Disney+ show. "In regards to how other truths of the show are leaking out, commercials were an idea of how we could do that," Feige said of the Hydra references.

Bettany also spoke about the conversation he had with Feige concerning Vision’s return to WandaVision. The discussion happened just before reshoots on Avengers: Endgame with which Bettany’s contract expired. He believed that Feige had called the meeting to officially resign him from the MCU. "I walked into the office, and I said, ‘Kevin, it’s been great, no hard feelings, thank you so much, I’ve loved my journey," Bettany recollects. Feige then explained that he was not being kicked out, and rather that he was being asked to return for WandaVision, to which he quickly agreed.

Meanwhile, Bettany revealed another film franchise character he would like to reprise: the galactic crime lord Dryden Vos from Solo: A Star Wars Story. In a separate interview with Jake’s Takes, Bettany was asked another character of his that he would be interested in exploring in a TV series. Bettany responded, "I would love to mess around with Dryden Vos... I love that idea."

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. The series premieres Jan. 15 on Disney+.
