At Comic-Con International in San Diego, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke about plans for Phase 4. He revealed they aim to continue to surprise fans, specifically with the previously announced mega-event series that will air on Disney+.

"WandaVision will be unlike anything we've done before, and I'm excited to talk to people more about it, eventually," he told CNN. While that might be a big claim to make for anyone else, Feige has proven himself time and time again with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He went on to talk about the other planned shows and what fans will see, including the return of fan-favorite supervillain Loki and Daniel Bruhl as Captain America: Civil War's Baron Zemo. "It's an embarrassment of riches," he said, "All of it extremely thought-out by the team Marvel Studios, to do it in ways that I hope will satisfy fans who are anticipating it, but in a way they are absolutely not expecting it."

Unlike other television shows set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far, WandaVision will have a visible impact on the films, as it was earlier reported the series will lead into the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. While the films have always had a clear impact shows on such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Marvel Netflix, the series and films have largely remained separate. While it's likely Feige was referring to more than just that, we know for certain that the separation is about to change.
