WandaVision's latest trailer revealed quite a lot about the upcoming Disney+ show. But one potential Easter egg may have given viewers a glimpse into what trouble could be coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe; a foreboding shot of a beekeeper could spell trouble for Wanda and Vision.

In the trailer, Wanda sees an ominous looking beekeeper that flashes eerily from color to black and white. This may be a small detail, but the MCU hardly ever includes anything that is simply coincidence, so it's possible that this beekeeper in the trailer means something to the overall plot. If this is true, and when taking information from the comics, this "beekeeper" could actually be a member of an insidious organization known as Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.).

In the comics, the members of A.I.M. outfitted themselves in gear that looked like beekeeper uniforms. Though the colors of the uniform in the trailer don't quite match those of the comics, they're still reminiscent of each other.

A.I.M. is an organization composed of genius scientists. Its goal is to use its power and technological advances to overthrow governments around the world. Formerly a sect within Hydra, A.I.M. split into its own organization in the 1960s. Although it's not as famous as Hydra, A.I.M. is just as deadly.

In the comics, A.I.M. has caused a lot of trouble for various heroes over the years, including the X-Men, Captain America and Iron Man. If A.I.M. is hiding within the WandaVision trailer, that spells big trouble for Wanda and Vision. A.I.M. has been responsible for creating three of the deadliest and most powerful instruments of destruction in Marvel: the Cosmic Cube, Super-Adaptoid and M.O.D.O.K. However, of the three, it is the Cosmic Cube that could be the weapon used against WandaVision's main characters.

M.O.D.O.K. Changed A.I.M.'s Goals

The Cosmic Cube is an unbelievably powerful object that resembles the Tesseract in the MCU. Although their powers are similar, they are not exactly the same. The Tesseract houses the Space Stone and is a doorway through space and time, while A.I.M.'s Cosmic Cube has nearly unlimited power and the ability to warp reality. It is important to note that the Tesseract has been destroyed at this point in the MCU timeline, but A.I.M.'s version could still be lying around waiting to be used.

Since the Cosmic Cube has the ability to warp reality, A.I.M. could be the cause of the distorted reality heavily featured in each WandaVision trailer. Further evidence of an outside influence on the neighborhood occurs when Wanda is asked over the radio, "Who is doing this to you?" Finally, the Cosmic Cube's powers could also explain why Wanda and the other characters seem generally confused and disturbed about their surroundings. If Wanda or Vision were controlling the events, it's sensible to assume they would appear fine.

As of now, Marvel has not confirmed a villain for WandaVision and while it could end up being Wanda herself, the newest trailer casts doubt on that theory. Only someone or something extremely powerful could be manipulating reality on the scale shown in the previews. Utilizing The Cosmic Cube, A.I.M. would have that kind of power and could set itself up to become the next Hydra-level threat in the MCU.
