UPDATE: While previous information suggested WandaVision would be six episodes long, it now appears the show will actually consist of nine episodes and conclude on March 5 -- less than two weeks before The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's premiere. You can read the article as it originally appeared below.

With WandaVision set to premiere in less than two weeks on Jan. 15, the latest teaser for Marvel Studios' first Disney+ series heralds a new era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Dubbed the "Signal" teaser, the promo continues to peel away the layers of the bizarre, sitcom-esque reality Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff has found herself in. At one point, an old clock/radio manages to get a signal through, repeatedly calling Wanda's name. The promo itself also signals the beginning of Phase Four of the MCU, promising that with "a new year" comes "a new era."

WandaVision will not only be Marvel Studios' first Disney+ series, but -- following the delay of films like Black Widow and Eternals -- will also be the first MCU project released as part of Phase Four as a whole. Consisting of six episodes, WandaVision Season 1 is set to conclude on Feb. 19 and will be shortly followed by Marvel Studios' second Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which is set to premiere its own six-episode first season on March 19.

Per the official synopsis for WandaVision,

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer. Debuts on Disney+ this year.
