In the series finale of WandaVision, Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda completed a long-gestating transformation into the powerful Scarlet Witch, with a new costume to symbolize her internal changes. Although most fans were quick to notice the comics-accurate look of her outfit, it also contained a more subtle reference to a very meaningful part of Wanda's life.

As pointed out in an Instagram post from Captain B2, the outline of the Mind Stone appears in the center of the cutout design in Wanda's collar. This references not only the cosmic force that originally awakened Wanda's superpowers, but her soulmate Vision, who was brought to life with the same force.

The image in the post shows a side-by-side comparison of the Mind Stone embedded in Vision's forehead with the shape in the Scarlet Witch costume. The accompanying text reads, "In the loving memory of Vision ,Wanda has kept a Mind Stone Shape Design in her Scarlet Witch Costume near her neck . Mind Stone was played crucial part in bringing vision to life and enhancing Wanda's Power."

One of six Infinity Stones that had a major influence on the events of the first three Phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Mind Stone was explained in Avengers: Age of Ultron to have given Wanda and her brother Pietro their respective powers. In the same film, the Mind Stone was the decisive component in the making of Vision, an android superhero, who later forged a romantic relationship with Wanda.

When the Stone was torn out of Vision's forehead in Avengers: Infinity War, he appeared to have been permanently killed, but the story of WandaVision showed how Wanda's grief led her to recreate her lover in a world of her own making.

Although much of Wanda's personal history is tied to the Mind Stone, it makes sense that she would associate it first and foremost with her lover, and that she would keep a reminder of it close to her heart in the new persona that she created for herself.

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. The series is available to stream on Disney+.
