According to WandaVision showrunner Jac Schaeffer, the Marvel Studios/Disney+ show might reveal more about Wanda's past with her brother, Pietro, AKA Quicksilver.

"The show is about Wanda and Vision and it’s an opportunity to dig deeper into who they are," Schaeffer told The Wrap. "And that has to do with where they come from," he added.

Schaeffer continued, "We’re all a product of our experiences and our trauma and our relationships. We'll be exploring all of those details of their pasts as we move forward."

Wanda has had her fair share of trauma, growing up in captivity then losing her brother at the hands of Ultron, then losing Vision, who was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

In WandaVision Season 1, Episode 3, "Now in Colour," after Wanda gives birth to twins, she tells Geraldine that she once had a twin brother. Geraldine asks, "He was killed by Ultron, wasn't he?" Her question upsets Wanda, and then a force of sorts offscreen removes Geraldine not only from Wanda's home but from Westview entirely.

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. New episodes debut on Fridays on Disney+.
