A supposed toy leak from WandaVision that revealed comic book villain Mephisto's arrival in the MCU has been debunked.Yesterday, a Twitter account shared an image of what looked to be the packaging for new Minimates figures from WandaVision showing art for Scarlet Witch and Mephisto toys. Called a leak, the toy would have been the first look at a live-action Mephisto, Marvel Comics' version of the Biblical Devil and a villain with deep ties to Wanda Maximoff. But the "leak" has now been debunked by the manufacturer.RELATED: WandaVision Hints at Monica Rambeau's Superhero Identity - & It's Heartwarming

Marvelous News spoke to a rep from Diamond Select Toys, the makers of Minimates, who confirmed the purported product is not real. This is solidified by the original source lacking a profile picture and only starting the account this month, likely the day they posted the photo.

Though plenty of details about Marvel projects have been revealed through toy leaks, this would have been some of the only WandaVision merch released so far. That said, WandaVision merch did reveal S.W.O.R.D.'s place on the show and Monica Rambeau's outfit before last week's episode introduced the organization.

As for Mephisto, fans have long speculated that the devilish supervillain could be making his MCU debut on the Disney+ series. In 1989, John Byrne, Mike Machlan, Bob Sharen and Bill Oakley's West Coast Avengers added to the long and complicated history of Wanda and her children with the introduction of Master Pandemonium and Mephisto into her story. Though the story of Billy and Tommy has been tweaked as much as the origin of Wanda and her brother, Pietro, the arc revealed that Mephisto played a big role in the ongoing saga.

Given their comic book connections, theories have abounded regarding Mephisto's potential influence on Wanda and Westview. Are the recurring hexagons on the show a tie to the devil? Did Paul Bettany reveal Mephisto's appearance? What about Agnes' dialog choices? After all, the mysterious neighbor has long been rumored to be Agatha Harkness, another supernatural comic character with deep connections to Wanda and her children. Regardless, it seems the villain's arrival won't be announced via an action figure.
