WARNING: The following contains spoilers for WandaVision Episodes 1 & 2, now streaming on Disney+.

The first episode of WandaVision followed the titular superhero couple of Wanda Maximoff and the Vision as they settled into their new idyllic, black-and-white life in Westview. However, there's a huge mystery surrounding just what's actually happening in the series, with it seeming likely that Scarlet Witch has used her powers to create Westview. And while someone outside that world is trying to contact Wanda, fan theories are trying to make the matter quite complicated, the answer is probably pretty simple.

A voice from the outside world reaches out to Wanda on two separate occasions in "Episode 2." The first time, Wanda is at Dottie's house, and the voice of a man comes out through the radio, asking "Who's doing this to you, Wanda?" Then, the voice is heard yet again just as the episode comes to an end.

With so much mystery at the heart of WandaVision, fans online have already started speculating about who the voice could belong to. Some believe that the voice is actually that of Steve Rogers/Captain America, and that this could somehow tie into Chris Evans' rumored return as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Others also theorize that the voice could actually be Wanda's dead brother, Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver. Pietro was killed in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, but it's theorized that Wanda could have brought him back to life, just like she did with Vision in this reality.

But as fun and promising as these theories sound, it's unlikely Captain America nor Quicksilver are the ones trying to reach Wanda. Given what we already know from the series' trailers, it's likely that whoever is trying to talk to Wanda is working for S.W.O.R.D. Thanks to "Episode 1," we already know that S.W.O.R.D. is monitoring the situation, and the group's involvement is only bound to get bigger as the series progresses.

Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp

As for just who specifically is trying to talk to Wanda, the answer to that is pretty simple. Although he has yet to appear, Ant-Man and the Wasp's Agent Jimmy Woo will appear in WandaVision. And the voice reaching out to Wanda through the radio sure sounds an awful lot like Woo. During his previous appearance in the MCU, Woo was an FBI agent who functioned as Scott Lang/Ant-Man's parole officer. However, considering his experience with the superhero, it's entirely possible he's now working for S.W.O.R.D. and dealing with a different ally of Captain America. So while it's not confirmed at this time, Woo is the most likely person trying to contact Wanda.

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. New episodes air Fridays on Disney+.
