This latest insight into WandaVision's approach to a television series echoed comments previously made by Feige. He recently confirmed that throwback ads were an idea developed early on in the show's conception. "If this is the very first Marvel, MCU thing you're watching, it's just a strange version of the 50s or 60s commercial," he stated. "If you have been watching all those movies, you might be able to start connecting what all those things mean."

WandaVision will be the first official entry in Phase Four of the MCU, as well as the first Marvel Studios show to premiere on Disney+. The upcoming series will track Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch following the events of Avengers: Endgame.
