WandaVision featured a subtle nod to Full House in the opening credits of the show's most recent episode, "On a Very Special Episode...."

As the Disney+ series moves into the '80s and '90s era of sitcoms, styles and tone will change to match it. While the episode's theme song was more a reference to Family Ties, WandaVision Episode 5, "On a Very Special Episode..." featured a blink-and-miss-it Full House easter egg in the opening credits. The credits end with Wanda and Vision having a picnic with their twin sons, a direct parallel to the Full House opening credits where the family has a picnic in front of their San Francisco home.

WandaVision has included several nods to classic sitcoms so far, including I Love Lucy, Bewitched and now, Full House. Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the Disney+ series, has a direct connection to Full House as she is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle Tanner on the show. Olsen would often visit her sisters on the set of Full House during the show's run from 1987 to 1995 and has previously compared her experience filming WandaVision in front of a live studio audience to her time on the set of the popular sitcom.

"There was something very meta for my own life because I would visit those tapings as a kid [when] my sisters were working [on Full House]," Olsen said. This is in line with other guest stars, like Debra Jo Rupp, who said that filming WandaVision felt "just like a sitcom."

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. New episodes air Fridays on Disney+.
