Although WandaVision has only released three episodes, the Disney+ limited series' mystery has captivated audiences, with its story being told from the perspectives of title characters Wanda Maximoff and Vision. However, Wanda (aka Scarlet Witch)'s actor Elizabeth Olsen has teased that the upcoming fourth episode will feature a "perspective swap," though she did not give any clues as to how or to whom this swap would occur.

While speaking to Digital Spy and other press outlets, Olsen discussed the events of the show after being questioned about its events. "In superhero movies, you usually know who the villain is," Olsen stated. "Or you know when they're coming into the timing of the film; you know when they're going to show themselves. In WandaVision, you don't know who the villain is or if there is a villain, so I think the real drama and tension is the constant tug and pull between the sitcom universe and the Marvel universe -- and what was fun... what was really fun was uncovering how much we peel back in every episode."

Olsen added that if one watches the characters, they "start to sense how much they know or are aware of things -- or how much they are not aware." The actor continued, "When we started filming this show, we had all nine scripts, so I didn't have to not really know what was going on ever. It was very specific. I think the reason why they show the press the first episodes is because Episode 4 is quite a shift. It's a really fun perspective swap and I think a lot gets understood at that moment."

Many details are unclear about WandaVision and the lives of the two main characters, which remain shrouded in mystery, like the mysterious and unpredictable villain or Wanda's limited memories of her home country Sokovia. However, show creator Jac Shaeffer has mentioned that the show is meant to be a slow burn and the pacing will bring a delayed gratification for audiences. The perspective swap could add a whole other layer to the mystery of WandaVision.

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes.
