Marvel Studios has earned its first Emmy Award thanks to WandaVision.

During the recent Creative Arts Emmys, WandaVision received its first Emmy award for narrative (half-hour) production design and for fantasy/sci-fi costumes. The Disney+ limited series is the first to be released through Marvel Studios, premiering in January of this year. It was nominated for 23 Emmys in total, which was the most for any limited series and the second-most for any series overall.

The Primetime Emmys are set to take place on Sept. 19, where WandaVision is nominated for Best Limited or Anthology Series and Outstanding Directing for a Limited or Anthology series for Matt Shakman, along with nominations for both leads, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. The series also secured nominations for three separate episodes: "Filmed Before A Live Studio Audience" by Jac Schaeffer, "Previously On" by Laura Donney and "All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" by Chuck Hayward and Peter Donovan.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier also received Emmy nominations. The series earned nominations for guest drama actor (Don Cheadle), comedy or drama (one-hour) sound editing, season or movie special visual effects, stunt coordination and stunt performance. While this is the first Emmy win for Marvel Studios, Marvel Television previously scored an Emmy thanks to Jessica Jones. That series earned a win for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.
